XAP044 binds to a pocket localized in mGlu7′s extracellular Venus flytrap domain (VFTD) close to the binding site of the orthosteric agonist L-glutamate. XAP044 exhibits a wide-spectrum anti-stress, antidepressant- and anxiolytic-like efficacy in rodent behavioral model. |
